The Ultimate Open Water Wetsuit
Dominate your race day with our revolutionary Powerskin Carbon Wetsuit. We combined two highly advanced materials to make the ultimate open water wetsuit. Yamamoto Aerodome neoprene panels integrated with our carbon cage fabric technology provides advanced buoyancy, total core stability and optimal swim position, giving you the confidence to brave the cold open water swim.
Carbon Core Stability
The carbon cage provides crucial support when and where it’s needed at specific points on the body. Core stability is also taken a step further with the help of advanced neoprene and Yamamoto Aerodome fabric for maximum buoyancy. The suit’s buoyancy is evenly-distributed across key areas of the suit, helping keep the swimmer’s body position level in the water. For more freedom of movement we crafted the shoulders with a thinner, more elastic neoprene. The rear zip fastening is easy to grasp for quick removal and no loss time at transitions.
Long Sleeve or Sleeveless
The Powerskin Carbon Wetsuit is offered in both long sleeve and sleeveless options to suit your water temperature and buoyancy needs (NOTE: Due to the additional material and corresponding buoyancy, long sleeve wetsuits can alter a competitive swimmer’s stroke slightly. We recommend practicing before racing in a full sleeve wetsuit, but this is an ideal suit for the recreational open water swimmer).
Getting the Perfect Fit
Getting into any dry wetsuit is a challenge. Once you get zipped in, ask yourself the following questions. If the answer to one or more of these questions is yes, then your wetsuit is not a good fit. It should feel like a second skin but not restrict movement.
Is there extra room in your knees, shoulders, or torso?
Is lifting your head over your arms and moving your shoulders difficult?
Is it difficult to crouch down and move your arms?
Multi-Thickness for Perfect Buoyancy and Warmth
All of our wetsuits use a Nylon bonded to Neoprene construction for durability and warmth. The material varies in thickness across different parts of the suit for optimal buoyancy, freedom of movement, and warmth. It is thickest across the torso, hips, and legs to keep your body insulated and buoyant, and thinner through the arms and armpits for maximum freedom of movement.
