The Tortuga Women’s wetsuit is a one-piece shorty ideal for tropical waters. The wetsuit is made with 2.5mm double-lined neoprene, offering maximum comfort and thermal protection for all water sports. The anatomical cut is specifically designed for women to ensure a comfortable fit that fits perfectly. The back zipper closure is attached to a pull-tab leash to ease donning and doffing.

Shorty vs. Full Wetsuit

A shorty wetsuit covers the torso and part of the arms and legs, making it ideal for warmer temperature environments. They prevent over-heating while out of the water, while also providing thermal protection to the core while in the water.

Full wetsuits cover the majority of the body from the neck to the ankles. They are ideal for cooler environments, as well as for those who will be in the water for longer periods of time. Full wetsuits also protect more skin surface from the underwater environment such as stings and abrasions.

Women’s wetsuits provide extra room in the hips, thighs, and chest areas as well as having a narrower shoulder area. These adjustments ensure a snug and proper fit, providing exceptional thermal protection the user needs while underwater. The anatomical fit ensures comfort and protection from the cold while also including all other necessary features of a great wetsuit.

The Tortuga is a wetsuit that has to fit snug like a second skin in order to keep your body warm. Please use the reference size chart in order to get the recommended size.
The wetsuit can be worn dry but the Neoprene become softer when wet. Choose a larger size if it is too tight.
