Our Bi-Focal Lens Construction

Advanced manufacturing techniques allow the Guideline Bi-Focal magnification element to be formed on the inside layer of the lens, making it virtually undetectable from the front. Each lens is formed from a minimum of 6 layers.

Grilamid BTR Bio-Plastic Frames

Guideline’s Grilamid BTR polymer frame is durable and flexible. CO2 emissions generated during the Grilamid manufacturing process are 44% less than those created during the manufacturing of traditional sunglass frame plastics. The castor bean grown and its natural oil generated is a true alternative to crude oil based plastics and the core of the Grilamid BTR material.

Deepwater Gray Lens

Guideline Eyegear’s Deepwater Gray lens is all about protection. A straight, traditional smoke Type 2 lens which filters light in all day sun conditions. Great for medium to strong sun on almost any waters. A classic, proven choice, this is darkest lens available. Visual Light Transmission is 11.8%

Freestone Brown Lens

Guideline Eyegear’s Freestone Brown lens is a tremendous all- hour, all-day performer. Affording generous texture to objects in field through its brown filter, this is an ideal choice for anglers who rely on sight subsurface to spot their quarry. It’s also pretty great while sitting on the deck reading a book. An extremely versatile lens tint. Works well as an all-day option. Visual Light Transmission is 12.4%
