The Arborist version comes with a robust product bag where you easily can pack down the different parts of the product.

DOUBLE SIDED CHAIN

The chain is double sided with cutting teeth on both sides. This means that it does not matter how it lands over the branch, you will always be ready to start sawing straight away.

The saw chain can be used as a survival saw on the ground when detaching the long 10 M / 33 FT straps from the saw handles.

The green nylon handles which is running on the long straps can be adjustable up or down depending on how high up the branch is located.

The long straps are attached to the saw chain handles with a 25 mm extra strong cam buckle.

Robust material

The bag and case are made of highly durable canvas fabric for best protection. The bag has ventilation holes in the bottom and the back in order for any moist to dry out when stowed away after being used in wet conditions.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

1. FILL WEIGHT BAG

Fill a third of the weight bag with pebbles.

2. FOLD 3 TIMES

Fold the other two thirds of the weight bag three times and close the bag with the small strap and buckle.

3. CLOSE VERY TIGHT

Make sure the weight bag is closed properly. We do not want to risk that pebbles falls out when throwing the bag.

4. WEIGHT BAG + 1 LONG STRAP

Connect the weight bag with one of the long straps.

5. PREPARE LONG STRAP

Before throwing the weight bag over the branch, make sure you have prepared the strap in zigzag pattern. DO NOT COIL IN CIRCLES.

6. THROW WEIGHT BAG

Throw the weight bag over the branch you wish to cut off.

7. CONNECT THE SAW

When the weight bag has been thrown over the branch and has come down to the ground again, then swap it with the saw chain and pull back the long strap to position the saw.

8. START SAWING

You and your friend are now ready to take that branch down. Make sure you step back to a safe distance before starting. Remember, standing further back means wider angle of the chain and therefore less risk of getting jammed.

The Arborist is developed to ensure a safe and efficient cutting when trimming hard to reach branches. This tree pruner enables the users to cut branches 8 meters up on the tree trunk without using a ladder or having a professional to do it. Due to the long straps attached to the saw, the users can step back to safe distance of 8-10 meters while cutting the branch. This feature makes the Arborist a safe tool and prevents possible injuries from falling branches or sticks.

The hand chainsaw cuts in both directions when pulling the straps back and forth. This ensures continuously effective cutting since no power is going to waste. Unlike the other products in our assortment, the Arborist has a double-sided chain which enables cutting from both sides. This means that it does not matter which direction the chain is placed over the branch when tossed up. Therefore, the user will not have the trouble to flip the chain to its correct position, but can instead start cutting straight away. The chain can also be detached from the long straps and be used on the ground as a pocket chainsaw or as a survival saw for your outdoor activities.

When cutting through a big and heavy branch with our garden pruning saw, it is important to be quick through the wood. This since we do not want the branch to peel off parts of the tree trunk when falling towards the ground. That is why we have designed our pruning chainsaw with cutting element on every element of the chain. We recommend to cut big branches in steps and taking away the excess weight before doing the final cut.

SAFE CUTTING WITH 10 METER (32″) LONG STRAPS – With this hand chain saw and its long straps you can cut down branches up to 8 meters (26″) from the ground and stand up to 10 meters (32″) away from the tree trunk while sawing. This makes it safer than a pole saw since you do not have to risk getting hit by the falling branch. Important: The strap must be connected to the cam buckle from underneath.
BI-DIRECTIONAL TEETH ON BOTH SIDES – It does not matter how the rope saw lands over the branch, you will always be ready to start sawing immediately. The self-cleaning teeth keeps the cut free from pulp and prevents you from getting stuck. The bi-directional teeth also cuts in both directions when pulling the rope chain saw back and forth, this ensures a powerful and quick saw motion.
DESIGNED TO BE OPERATED BY 2 PERSONS – To fully utilize this tree pruner ’s potential, we strongly recommend you operating it together with an adult friend. With other words, this portable saw should not be used alone. When operating it alone the angle of the chain is very tight, this makes it getting stuck more easily in the wood.
